Synopsis

The original text of the Senate version of the Brady Bill included a sun setting of the purchase waiting period, after there had been time to set up the instant check system. This bill made the waiting period permanent.

Analysis

This bill would have unnecessarily prevented law abiding citizens from exercising their Second Amendment rights after they had been approved.
