SynopsisSA3260 provides criminal penalties for gun owners whose guns are publicly displayed or criminally used by a juvenile because the gun owner did not take proper care in the gun's storage. AnalysisNo exemption is made for juveniles that may be at a shooting range or hunting with a parent or guardian. A juvenile displaying a gun in a public place is sufficient for the gun owner to be in violation.
