Synopsis

This bill appears to be a reintroduction of the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. 

Analysis

H.R.6257 is not as bad as some of the other AWBs currently proposed. It defines semiautomatic assault weapons (SAWs) as requiring two of the evil attributes.

H.R.1022 is a much worse bill.

That is not to say it is a good bill. It is still a grand waste of time and an infringement of our rights.
