Way Off Topic

I have been travelling again. I am really tired of it. But being in northern Virginia does remind me of why I am so happy to be gone from there. Besides the traffic, the attitude is amazing. There is a radio add for a local car dealership. Apparently, they don't have a showroom. They have a

climate controled display facility (said it your snotiest voice).

Given that subsidized housing has air conditioning, I am not sure what the big deal is. You can bet they don't sell F-150s.

It is good to be home again, even if I am back into catch up mode.

I have been travelling today, so blogging from 35,000 feet has had its expected productivity.

Now that I am on the ground, I am going to be busy, once again, But I do want to point out Fox's Gun Enthusiasts Mobilize in Blogosphere in New Era For Grassroots. Much of what I had to say has been left out. And I don't care for parts of the article. But on the whole, it is not bad.

Last thing, although I see no issue with an AB-10 or AKs, I do wish they would find graphics that would not inflame the GFWs.

New Jersey is NOT Dead

I am giving this news a dedicated post because of its surprise factor. And if Bitter thinks it is important enough to send an email, I will not wait till morning. To quote Bitter:

A New Jersey court just recognized 2A rights in a decision.  Not something sweeping like Parker, but certainly unexpected.

Michigan has two new gun laws, scheduled for introduction on Tue, 20 March.

Currently, before you buy a handgun you need to fill out the paperwork and have the criminal check.  Then you buy it.  Then you have to take it to the police department for a "safety inspection" - basically the final step in registering the handgun.

HB 4490 and 4491 eliminate the requirement for this inane "inspection" and eliminate the criminal penalties for failing to register.

Thanks to Jay
