Don't expect much. They are off until September 6th. We will spend the month working on historical analysis of old bills and a history of the Sullivan Act has been requested.
As always, we will be documenting newspaper articles, lobbies and state level directions in the Forum. Write Comment (0 Comments) |

We took the weekend off but will be back at it today working the the analysis of all the amendments to S.397. Some are already up, but this will take some time.
From what we see from Sen. Kennedy, it appears that he has it out for Kahr Arms. They were the company that had hired a drug addict who was walking out of the factory with firearms before they had serial numbers. Several of the amendments would have let suits against them continue.
The most surprising amendment thus far is SA1616. At a time when the Democratic leadership is whining about not working on the defense appropriation, Senator Clinton wants the Senate to work on Video Game Control. Check it out for yourself. Write Comment (0 Comments) |
