McCarthy is at it again with the another gun grabbing bill. The information is very sketchy at this point. We will keep HR3348 updated as information becomes available.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Finding rulings by Judge Roberts is near impossible. Finding more generic information about him indicates that he sees the judicial role as one of strict legal interpretation and not expansion. This is a hopeful sign. Write Comment (0 Comments) |

The NRA is saying that S.397 may hit the Senate floor this Thursday. Call / email your senators and let them know we need this bill passed without anti-gun amendments of any kind.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

I have spoken to Sen. Craig's office today. They indicated that the list of bills to be seen on the Senate floor is quite long and S.397 will probably not be seen until fall.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

The BATFE is changing the way they interpret the 'sporting use' clauses in federal law and what repair parts should be available for firearms already imported. They have sent a letter to FFL holders stating that they will end issuing some import permits and even cancel some they have already issued. This is the reason we need HR1703.Write Comment (0 Comments) |

I just found Al Doyle's article on Lew Rockwell entitled States To Avoid. Although there is little on the Rockwell site to appreciate, this article makes interesting points as to how some states are so much worse than others.
This would be a particularly good read for residents of those states. They become numb to the to what they must put up with. This was just reinforced for me this week by a friend who had just moved from Massachusetts to Kentucky. Only now is it clear to him how much of what he put up with was state imposed.
