Sunday, 04 September 2005
It was introduced yesterday by Senator Feinstein and is cosponsored by a predictable array. It appears to be substantially similar to the 1994 Assault Weapon Ban except that post ban magazines (manufactured or imported) would be serial number. Check out Senate Bill 620.Write Comment (0 Comments)

March 3, 2005 - Bill banning assault pistol is introduced
User Rating: / 0
Wednesday, 02 March 2005
WASHINGTON -- The Five-SeveN pistol is small enough to fit into your pocket but packs a big punch _ its bullets can penetrate a bulletproof vest. One of the weapons was recently pulled off the streets of Camden County, N.J., and New Jersey and New York lawmakers want them out of the hands of the public for good.

New Jersey Democratic Sens. Jon Corzine and Frank Lautenberg, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., on Thursday introduced a bill that would make it illegal for anyone except a police officer or military official to possess the assault pistol.

Check it out here.

January 31, 2005 - National Review on the NRA

Sunday, 30 January 2005
High Caliber Advocacy is an excellent article written by John Miller in the National Review on the NRA and how it has been effective. The only point left unsaid is that the gun control advocates leave a history that only needs to be publicized. Candidates like Kerry have a trail of words and actions that betray their campaign promises of being progun. Voters only need to be interested enough to educate themselves to see the hypocrisy of their campaigns.

January 26, 2005 - Brady Campaign & Armor Piercing Ammo
User Rating: / 0
Saturday, 15 January 2005
Once again, the Brady Campaign sends an alarm about a gun capable of piercing soft body armor. Of course the gun does not pierce anything; its the bullet. There is no mention of the quality of the body armor. Level 1 body armor can be pierced by a 357 magnum, which dates back decades. And there is no mention of the Constitution. Read their press release here.
