• John Lott points out an interesting change in San Fransisco - a SF Chron article on THE LINE OF FIRE Some citizens fear for safety if courts uphold S.F.'s voter-approved ban on handguns. It is unfortunate that the article couldn't appear before the vote.
• They say that the the gun rights crowd expands when a liberal is victimized. NRA's newest convert: Even a hippie needs a gun gives us another example. H/T to No Quarters.
• DC has a "crime-emergency". Fortunately the declaration only gives the police chief powers over the unions. Too bad the DC government fails to recognize the powers or the rights of the people.
• A budding rapper puts a bullet in his head. Mother's natural reaction is to want to outlaw pen guns. Of course, they are already classified as 'any other weapons' under the NFA classification. His possession was probably already illegal, but why let facts get in the way.
