SynopsisS.3275 is the companion bill to H.R.4547. It acknowledges states that do not issue concealed carry permits and places restrictions on carry locations in those states to those commonly found in the laws of different states.
AnalysisThis bill will allow residents of any state who carries a ccw from any state to carry in any state. S.3275 would probably be less objectionable to gun grabbers than H.R.1243 in that it acknowledges a default list of places you could not carry, unless specified by state law. The NRA has decided to make H.R.4547 a legislative priority and S.3275 goes along for the ride.
