Gun Law News

I present for your consideration Sportsmen for Obama? The next presidential election will be especially important in case the Democrats retain control of the House and Senate.

I have been taking a few days off just to get some rest. I will say that I will be glad when '07 is over as it has already been a very long year.

While I am at it, I am considering a change in direction for the site. The news aggregation that is, generally, done daily has become extremely time consuming. My Bloglines subscription list has over 100 blogs and I know it does not include every blog that it could. On an average day, I am going through over 200 blog entries to build the daily post. Given family and work demands, I can not keep this up. So something must change.

Suggestions welcome.

Final note: This is posting number 1001.

News Aggregation Consuming

Sorry, no suggestions, but what a valuable resourse your site is. It helps so much in developing letters to legislators, and general important knowledge in this fight against our rights and libeties. Thanks so much for having been there. We only hope we do not lose you all together.

slashdot model?

I have found both the news aggregation and the links to blogs I would not have found time to look for the 2 most valuable features of gunlawnews.

Understanding how time consuming it must be, are you familiar with slashdot.org? It uses user contributed news.
Could bloggers and registered site users feed you links and synopsis that you could still aggregate for us?

I would be willing to do so. thx for the service you have provided, MichaelG
Maybe it's overkill

Just my opinion, but as much as I appreciate what you're doing, a weekly update with the most significant items, along with a list of "worth a look" places would be plenty for me.

Trying to strike a happy balance on this is tough.
