There is some conjecture on Obama changing the just enacted rules on concealed carry in national parks. As of right now, January 21 at 08:20 MT, Rocky Mountain National Park has not heard anything from the Obama administration or NPS headquarters. So, concealed carry is still legal in the National Park system. Of course, I would call ahead to any park you wish to visit on the day you wish to visit. The situation could change at any time and do not expect officials to have any understanding if you get caught in the middle. I had not considered the question before, but I have been told that open carry is still considered verboten independent of state and local law.
